In one of the most bizarre incidents I have seen in college football, Mitch Cozad a backup punter at Northern Colorado , was ordered by a judge to stand trial for stabbing the starting punter in the leg. Apparently the motive for the September 11, 2006 attack was the fact that Cozad wanted to play in a game against Portland State. The official charge against Cozad will be attempted first-degree murder.
If you didn't believe it before, believe it now - punters are crazy.
