BCS and you - perfect together?

Everyone has their own opinion on the BCS standings and their recommenedation on how to fix it. Therefore I felt it was time to weigh in on my thoughts. First off the BCS system is flawed, we all know this, but it is better then what we had before. To me there was nothing worse then having "co" champions, this was a disservice to both the teams and fans. What we need is a way to erase all doubt when the season is over who is the true champion, for example yes Florida won but what about Boise State? Yeah they are in a weak conferance but they still went undeafeated and beat a solid Oklahoma team in a BCS Bowl game. If the BCS values wins more then anything why did it slight Boise State, a perceipved strength of scheudle isnt a good enough argeument.
Everyone talks about a playoff, this is an ideal scenerio for fans everywhere, but how realistic is it? The BCS chairman recently said that any playoff wouldnt happen until 2010, but a +1 game could be a possibility sooner. A +1 from what I understand would match the winners of the top two Bowl games , so for example we would have seen Florida and USC play a +1 game with the winner being the National Champion. Personally I like the +1 as a short term fix, it gives us 3 "super bowl" type games that would bring in tons of fans. However, a playoff system is still the best way to go. A +1 will still leave out every team but 4, we need to include at least 10 or 12 of the top teams. Yeah I love the fact that every game means so much because one loss could drop you out of a title game, but how fair is this to a team that has only one bad game? Personally, I want to see Boise state and lesser known teams duke it out with the best in the land - I mean who doesnt?
