Frank Broyles announced his retirement as Athletic Director for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Broyles spent an incredible 50 years as the Arkansas football coach and atheltic director. During that time Broyles brought in top coaches, state of the art facilities and a passion for sports that is unmatched. Already  ex-players, friends and collegaues from all over have expressed their love and admiration for Broyles.

I think the one that that stands out is Broyles ability to reconize coaching talent. During his years in various positions at Arkansas he brought in a all-star list of coaches spanning numerous sports, including:
Joe Gibbs, Jimmy Johnson, Johnny Majors, Jackie Sherrill, Lou Holtz, Eddie Sutton and Nolan Richardson

Broyles started his career at Arkansas in 1957 after coaching Missouri for one year, he will step down at the end of 2007.
