Erik Ainge, the starting Quarterback for the Tennessee Volunteers, will have surgery next week to remove / repair torn cartilage in his right knee.  Aingle  will miss spring practice and could be out as long as 8 - 12 weeks, however the length of time he will be out will depend on what the doctors do - removal will mean less recovery time, repair would take longer.

Ainge will be heading into his senior year with high expectations. Last season he had a 67% completion percentage, 2,989 yards and 19 touchdowns.
