College Football is getting close ladies and gentleman. CBS Sportsline.com Senior Writer Dennis Dodd has just released his pre-season spring top 25. And oh its a good one (good as in bad or good as in awful?).

Here is his list:

1. USC
2. Michigan
3. West Virginia
4. LSU
5. Florida
6. Wisconsin
7. Louisville
8. Texas
9. UCLA
10. Oklahoma
11. Auburn
12. Virginia Tech
13. TCU
14. Tennessee
15. Arkansas
16. California
17. Rutgers
18. Ohio State
19. Boise State
20. Georgia
21. South Carolina
22. Notre Dame
23. Texas A&M
24. Florida State
25. Kentucky

USC is the choice for #1. No one, not even Big 10 fans can argue this. However, 2 - 10 I question he has a good amount of overrated teams ranked pretty darn high, namely: LSU, Louisville, Virgina Tech, TCU and Boise State to name a few. The reason why I say these teams are over rated is that each one lost at least 1 major starter - for example Russell at LSU and Bush at Louisville. Putting USC aside, I think the other BCS slots are wide open.

5 teams I see taking a early season tumble:

  1. LSU
  2. Louisville
  3. UCLA
  4. Rutgers
  5. Kentucky

5 teams I see making a early season jump:

  1. Wisconsin
  2. Tennessee
  3. Florida
  4. Ohio State
  5. Notre Dame
