With the 6th pick of the 2007 NFL Draft the Washington Redskins draft LaRon Landry, Safety out of LSU . This kid is a hitter and is a great pick for the Redskins. Thankfully they didn't go after a RB or QB - which they didn't need. This is a smart pick and will cause many WR's to think twice before they cross the middle of the field. Landry was great at LSU and will be great in the NFL - the fact that some people think that he is the best Defensive player in the draft and went at 6? GREAT day for the Redskins. I do find it funny though that the Redskins draft a guy names Landry...at least his first name isn't Tom.
