Elijah Robinson, offensive lineman for the Penn State Nittany Lion's, sustained a serious neck injury during spring practice. Robinson was able to walk off the field but after team doctors examined him they found he was born with a tight spinal canal. Any further impact to Robinson's head could result in paralysis.

Robinson was close to winning the starting spot and had two years of eligibility left.
