The 42 year old man who fatally shot TCU kicker Kasey Davis was sentenced to live in prison. Jeffrey Clay Lasiter walked up to the car Davis was sitting in and shot him with a deer rifle. Of course the defense attorneys tried to use the old mental illness defense...wow you think he was mentally ill?

Davis and Lasiter did not know each other....sad sad stuff.
