Officials at the University of Alabama are not commenting on reports that Coach Saban might have violated NCAA rules about contacting potential recruits. The Miami Herald reports that 3 south Florida High School prospects had extended conversations with Coach Saban that might have exceeded NCAA guidelines. IF this is true it would be considered a secondary violation and would not result in any significant penalties.

University of Alabama officials are not commenting on the allegations.
